DRILLD VS PB DRILLS

PB Drills and Drilld are both built by players who got tired of watching drill videos and not getting better. They disagree about what comes next.

What PB Drills does well. It is the bigger library: 200+ drills, each with a video demo and step-by-step instructions, a full-screen Court Mode timer with audio cues, and a chat you can type a request into and get a session back. If you want a big catalog to browse and a timer to run it, it is a solid one.

The difference in one line

PB Drills gives you 200+ drills to browse. Drilld tells you which ones to do today and measures whether you cleared them.

PB DrillsDrilld
Deciding what to drillYou browse 200+ drills, or type a request into the chat ("30 min, no partner, work on my drop") and it writes a session.Nothing to type. Open the app and today's session is built from the weak spots you named, your level, and what you drilled last.
How progress is measuredA rating curve and a category heatmap, plus monthly check-ins.Five tier benchmarks per drill. You hit the number or you don't, and a confidence prompt stops you fudging it.
What the next session doesWhat you ask it for.Moves off drills you cleared, back onto the ones you avoid, and audits you every two weeks with a verdict: READY, STAY, AVOIDING, CALIBRATE or BURNED.
VideoA video demo on every drill, plus 10-second self-recordings stored on your phone.A court diagram on every drill: where to stand, where the ball goes, who covers what. Links out to curated coaching videos; doesn't host them.
CostFree on the App Store at the time of writing.Free tier forever. Pro is $9.99/mo or $99/yr after a 14-day trial. $99 once for lifetime, first 1,000 players.

Why fewer drills is on purpose

Drilld has 134 drills, not 200. Every one of them has five tier targets, a court diagram, and a place in the engine's scoring. A library is only as useful as the decision it helps you make, and the decision Drilld makes for you is "these six, in this order, today." More drills would make that decision worse, not better.

Which one you want

Pick PB Drills if you want the biggest catalog, a video on every drill, and a chat you can ask for a session when you feel like one.

Pick Drilld if you have been stuck at the same DUPR for months and what you are missing is not more drills but a plan: one that decides for you, tracks what you actually clear, and tells you the truth when you are avoiding the thing that loses you points in open play.

Both are worth a look. Only one of them will tell you that you are AVOIDING.
