Drilld is built by one person: Michael Morancie, a rec player who sat at the same DUPR for too long.
I'd been a 3.0 for too long. Every coach said the same thing: "be more consistent." Nobody told me how to measure that. So I made it measurable.
The drilling apps I tried were video libraries with paddles. Two hundred drills, browse them yourself, good luck. That is content, not training. What I wanted was the thing a good coach does between lessons: look at where my game actually breaks down, pick today's work, and tell me straight whether I cleared it or just felt like I did.
So every drill in Drilld has five tier targets you have to hit. The session is built from the weak spots you name, not the shots you enjoy. And every two weeks it audits you and says one of five things: READY, STAY, AVOIDING, CALIBRATE or BURNED. It is not always what you want to hear. That is the point.
There is no team, no content studio, no video library to sell you. There is one player who builds the engine, writes the drills, draws the diagrams and answers the support email. If something is wrong, tell me and it gets fixed. Every rep YOU do counts, and so does every message.
